Hi, I am Yasemin.

I’m a UX consultant who blends analytical thinking with a passion for aesthetics and usability. I believe the closer we are to our users, the more meaningful the experiences we create —so my work centers on empathy, solving the right problems, and staying open to fresh ideas.

My UX career started in the finance and banking sector. I worked as a junior UX designer at Akbank, one of Turkey’s largest banks. After that, I spent three years as a senior UX designer working closely with development teams at Garanti BBVA Technology for three years. In this role, I designed user experiences and scenarios for various internal and external platforms, and I also led and conducted user research across multiple projects. During my time at Garanti BBVA Technology, I was selected as an instructor for BBVA Design Ambassador Program which aims to promote the Design Thinking approach within the company. As part of this role, I facilitated Design Thinking workshops and participated in voluntary initiatives.

After my experience in the finance sector, I decided to explore new industries and worked as a senior user experience designer at GE Aviation for nearly two years. Most recently, I spent three years at Cisco - Webex Events where I further developed my product design skills within a startup-driven culture.
 

Currently, I work as a user experience consultant. In addition, I am a visiting lecturer at Kadir Has University ,teaching usability and design principles.
